About Us

We are a small hobby breeder, with the utmost concern for the welfare of our puppies and adults. All puppies are raised in my house for the purpose of being able to give them constant care and attention. We are located on 3 1/4 acres approximately 17 miles South of the VA. Line. Winton is located on US 13/NC 158 at JCT 45. We live just on the outskirts of my hometown of Winton, NC.
We moved back here in 1984 to buy our own land and have a safe place off the road to further pursue my Love for German Shepherds, Peace of Mind and to be closer to nature. We are occasionally visited by a herd of two-tone color deer, that are just beautiful to watch. Later in the years we decided it was time to build our dream home.
With the Love My Daughter has for all animals and being brought up with dogs, she begged me to buy her a Sheltie for her 10th Birthday. After a long search, we finally found a Blue Merle female. At that time, we did not know much on the breed, so we bought some books and I spent many hours reading and enjoying our new family member. This little girl, with her loving ways showed me such a passion to learn and please and kept us very entertained, that she won my heart and started a New Quest of Dreams.
This New Quest started a mission in my life that led me to the Sheltie List. There I have learned so much more than books can reveal. I have made many new friends and with the help and knowledge of these dedicated Sheltie lovers, we have been fortunate to learn of New test and developments to better this breed's health and standards for future generations.

We still breed German Shepherds for protection, companion pets and breeder quality, with the structure and intelligence capable of achieving your desired expectations when given proper and adequate training. We test all our dogs and adult Shelties for VonWillebrands Disease by DNA with VetGen, Thyroid, OFA Hips and eyes. All pets will have a spay/neuter contract and Health guarantee. Our plans are to either Tattoo or Microchip each puppy before it goes to new owner, First as a safety precaution (in the event it should get Lost or Stolen) and Second as a means of AKC identification.
