Joyce's Furbabies
Beetlejuice became a part of our family in 10-91 as a 3 or 4 month old kitten. He was meowing at the top of his lungs and we heard him inside our house. As the picture shows he's been talking to us ever since. We use 6-25-91 as his DOB.
Pipsqueak was born 3-8-94 and came to live with us in May. He is the only cat of ours that we actually went to someone's house to choose. We knew his kitty parents! He is no longer a pipsqueak, so we call him Pip.

Gheist and his brother, Weissen are the first 2 of our German kitties. They joined us in 2-95 with a guess DOB of 5-1-94. They were outdoor kittens of MamaKitty from next door. They were soooo cold on winter days shivering so much till I coaxed them inside forever. Good food for a very loving kitty.
Weissen (pronounced Vissin) means white in German. He would appear in front of our textured front door looking like a white spot. His brother Gheist would look like a shadowy spot so he was named Ghost. Weissen is our scaredy cat who doesn't like to be handled at all. We love him just the same.

Minke's Guess DOB is 5-26-96 and she was brought to us in July by German kids in the village where we lived. She barely fit into our opened hand. She's a Momma's girl. She spent most of her early days glued to me. She would curl up in my arm while I was working on the computer till my arm hurt. I finally rigged a sling-like thing to hold her close to me without my arm doing all the work. She is sooo spoiled!!
Annabelle, our prissy Calico was born 7-3-00 and she came to live with us on 10-21-00. We adopted her from our Tampa vet. She is a dear, but feisty when she wants to be. She is one of our most photogenic kitties I think. Her cute face is the wallpaper on my computer.

Beth is short for Bethlehem. We adopted her on 12-15-03 with a Guess DOB 10-1-03. She was soo little and had the poops when we spotted her in a cage at PetsMart. I couldn't stand the pitifulness of the sight so she came home with us. Within 24 hrs she was over her poops, rested up and ready to go! She hasn't stopped since. She is my only love biter and her favorite time to cuddle and bite is in the middle of the night. She loved sleeping under the tree while it was up.
Heidi is gray and white and mostly looks bug eyed when I take a picture by herself, so Sam helped in this one. Heidi is a bashful kitty, but appreciates some loving when she wants it. She also is very passionate when it comes to playing with her furry mice. We adopted her in 3-15-03 with a Guess DOB of 7-15-02.

Sam is my slant eyed little terror. He is into everything along with Josie his best buddy. We adopted them together on 6-27-03. His Guess DOB is 4-27-03 and so his hers for that matter. They love playing together and make more noise than all the other cats put together. Sam loves to "run" real fast with his front feet on the mirror, box flaps, and even the floor. Strange kitty.
Josie was very young when this was taken. She got herself into the bucket without any encouragement from us. I looked all over for her and finally spotted her and of course lots of pixs were taken. Josie's full name is Jehosaphat. Before we got her every night when we got in bed we would call the cats that would sleep with us to come join us. My husband kept adding Jehosaphat to the list. I would remind him we didn't have a cat by that name. So when I came home from Animal Control with a female her name immediately changed. We have since researched and found that it is really a man's name. Oh, well.

Li Li is our Lilac Point Himalayan that we adopted on 12-6-03 with a Guess DOB of 6-3-02. She is a dear! If she wants attention she will fall at your feet with her tummy up! She loves to be combed, thank goodness! The vet thinks she could be a purebred. Her owner gave her up and I can't imagine why. She loves to play with pipecleaners.
